Car generator can regulate power generation

We all know that car generators are used to generate electricity, but we don't know how it works. Is it self-charging? In fact, its working principle is that the coil cuts the magnetic induction wire to generate current, and the faster the coil speed, the greater the current and voltage. There is no permanent magnet in the car generator. It uses a coil to generate a magnetic field. The rotor of the generator is a coil that generates a magnetic field. When the generator is running, the battery first energizes the rotor coil (called the exciting current) to generate a magnetic field. A rotating magnetic field is generated and induced electricity is generated in the stator coils. When the engine speed increases and the voltage rises, the voltage regulator disconnects the rotor current, so that the magnetic field of the rotor gradually weakens, and the voltage will not increase.
